Watermans grow me shampoo and conditioner
Hello again, I've got another review today and it's the Watermans grow me shampoo and conditioner. You need to know why I bought this set in the first place. Over the last year and a half my hair which is normally voluminous and shiny began falling out in large numbers and lost its shine, strength basically lost all the qualities that would make it look healthy. I blame the huge amounts of stress I've been under, hair-dyes and decreased water intake. I went on a hunt for something that would help my hair look better because I felt ashamed about the bald patch that was starting to show at the top of my head and what made it worse was the people around me constantly asking about it, joking or giving opinions, told myself enough is enough I need a fix.
I found their website through a quick google search and spent a month wondering if it would be worth it as I had spent a fortune on other products by the time I found watermans. What made me take the plunge? Two things: one being the reviews I saw and read; two is the fact that when my country wasn't listed in the shipping I contacted them and they were so kind enough to add it, so people if your country isn't listed ask them.
I'm actually making the review after about 3-4 months of usage and around 2 and a half bottles of shampoos and conditioners were used. I wash my hair once every 2 days and I had hair above my shoulder so I didn't need a lot of product.
The shampoo comes in a black bottle and the conditioner in a similar white bottle with a simple design. I'll link there website here they go in depth about the uses of each ingredient and what the products are free of.
Now lets talk smell and consistency both the shampoo and the conditioner smell minty the minty notes are stronger in the shampoo. The fragrance is a little strong so if you're sensitive to smell you might want to keep a note of that when you purchase a set. The consistency of the shampoo is runny and clear and makes it easy to use. The conditioner on the other hand is really white, opaque and thick, so thick that I have difficulty getting it out of the bottle so I prefer to remove the screw cap and squeeze some. I do like the consistency that way because it feels like its coating my strands really well and you don't need a lot.
The way you want to use it is: shampoo the scalp and leave it on for 2 minutes or if you're running late a minute at the least, rinse it out and use the conditioner on the ends I like to squeeze the water out of my hair first then condition so it has a better chance of penetrating my hair and again for 2 minutes but I leave it on for 2-4 minutes. The smell mildly lingers on throughout the day. At first I lost a little hair but on continued use it grew back stronger and I was so amazed at the before and after pictures
How amazing is this? The patch is smaller my hair looks lush and it feels a lot more stronger than it ever was and the ends were beginning to soften up and no longer looked nor felt like hay, this growth was also helped by their grow pro hair vitamin I used 3 of those as well. I took two capsules a day as recommended
I'm out of stock now I mainly have been putting off buying it because of the odd smell but I read that they changed the formula so I will be getting it in the near future. About the length: yes it did grow but the reason I did not include pictures of the growth is because I cut my hair whenever it grew, I wanted to get rid of the dead dry hair as quick as possible
The last thing I'd like to say is thank you watermans for creating these "magic in a bottle". My hair is growing and I'm not worried about sitting down in a crowd where they can see the top of my head and I'm hoping one day there's no visible patch. I hope this review helped you decide. If you've used these already let me know how it worked out for you.
